Terms of Service

1. Who we are

FreeBoard is a job tracker for developers, run by [COMPANY OR OWNER NAME] ("we", "us"). These terms apply when you use the FreeBoard website, app and API.

2. Your account

One person per account. Use a real email address and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account and its API keys. If you think someone else has access, tell us at support@example.com.

3. Plans and billing

The Free plan costs nothing. The paid plans are Monthly ($15 every month), Quarterly ($24 every 3 months) and Annual ($60 every year). A paid plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it.

Prices in USD. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where required.

Payments are processed by [PAYMENT PROVIDER: D1]. We never see or store your card details.

4. Canceling

You can cancel anytime in Settings → Billing → Manage subscription. You keep paid access until the end of the period you paid for, and nothing renews after that.

5. Refunds

[REFUND WINDOW: default 14 days from the first payment]. Ask for a refund at support@example.com. A refund cancels the subscription immediately and ends paid access at once.

6. Your own Anthropic key

The Claude-powered features run on the Anthropic API key you add in Settings. Those requests fall under Anthropic's terms, and Anthropic bills you for them directly.

7. AI-written text

"Verified" means Jev, TypeSafe's checker, found support for a line in your resume. It is not a guarantee that the line is true or right for the job. Read everything before you send it: you are responsible for what you send to employers.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use FreeBoard to scrape websites automatically, to store or send illegal content, or to get around plan limits, rate limits or security measures.

9. API use

The REST API is part of the paid plans. API keys are personal: do not share them.

10. Termination

You can stop using FreeBoard at any time and delete your account in Settings → Billing, or ask us to delete it (see the Privacy Policy). Deleting your account cancels a subscription immediately, without a refund of the remaining paid time: ask for a refund before deleting. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

FreeBoard is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it is error-free or always available. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY / GOVERNING LAW].

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Before a material change takes effect, we may email you about it.
